The YWCA Greater Newburyport (YWCA-GN) is a non-profit community organization that provides numerous programs and initiatives that work toward the empowerment of all people. The YWCA is an internationally-affiliated advocacy organization that works for social change, with particular emphasis on promoting racial justice and the economic advancement of women. Locally, the YWCA-GN programs focus on three main areas: Health, Education and Recreation; Community Advocacy; and Social Services.
