    Currently in Downtown Oakland, American Indian Public Charter School now serves 250 inner-city students from grades K - 8. The focus of AIPCS has been excellent student attendance (99.5%), which helps ensure the academic needs of our students.

    AIPCS received the Blue Ribbon Award, which is given to the top 200 schools in the nation. Our students have also exceeded the standards set forth by the No Child Left Behind Act each year. Demographically, 72% of AIPCS students qualify for free and reduced lunch, 99% are minorities, and 75% speak English as a second language.
