After-School All-Stars of New York

AFTER-SCHOOL ALL-STARS OF NEW YORK

Founded in 1992 by Arnold Schwarzenegger, After-School All-Stars is the leading national organization that provides year-round, school-based, comprehensive after-school programs giving inner-city youth learning opportunities beyond the traditional school day. We now serve over 72,000 children annually across our 14 chapters. Our free programs serve youth who are most needed: 92% of our students are underrepresented minorities, and 87% qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch Programs. Our mission is to provide comprehensive programs that keep children safe and help them acheive in school and Life.

After-School All-Stars of New York (ASASNY) is seeking Youth instructors to work in their after school program in Hollis Queens. Staff members are required to develop enrichment activities with their co-workers and will team teach activities over 6/8 week sessions. Each staff member teaches 2-4 classes per session.

Candidates must:

• Have excellent people skills
• Be creative
• Be motivated individuals
• Must have prior experience working with youth
• Must speak English fluently
• Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm
• Salary: $12.00 per hour
