    The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) matches the talent and skills of persons 55+ with opportunities to solve community problems. RSVP volunteers can be found in local libraries, hospitals, police departments, etc. RSVP also has three major projects: the Northern Virginia Senior Environment Corps, the America Reads tutoring project and the Grandfathers Group mentoring project. There is no cost to join RSVP and the benefits include partial mileage reimbursement, free accident insurance and supplemental auto and personal liability insurance.
