    The Nature Conservancy is one of the leading conservation organizations, working across Indiana and around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Our mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.

    Since 1959, The Nature Conservancy in Indiana has helped to protect nearly 100,000 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies, lakes and streams for current and future generations to enjoy.

    We are lucky enough to be have our Chapter office in the Efroymson Conservation Center, our LEED Platinum-certified headquarters in downtown Indianapolis. In addition to its Indianapolis office, the Indiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy has six project offices located throughout the state and maintains more than 80 nature preserves across Indiana.
