The Samaritan Center is an interfaith effort of community members committed to serving the hungry and those in need in Central New York in order to promote their welfare, dignity and self-sufficiency. The Samaritan Center serves hot and nutritious meals 365 days a year without questions or pre-conditions. Our daily meal program is paired with active case management and partnerships with community human service agencies to address the underlying factors that bring individuals and families to a soup kitchen: hoemlessness, under and un-employment, literacy issues, mental health and substance abuse struggles, disabilities and so many more.
