    The Women's Center of Los Angeles (WCLA) is a grassroots organization founded in 2005 based on the legacy of the women's centers of the 60's and 70's. Our mission is to provide community and guidance that empowers women and girls develop the knowledge, self-confidence, and life-skills they need to reach their potential and thrive. WCLA's programs provide powerful and meaningful experiences essential for women and girls to gain awareness of their own capabilities as they work together and help each other discover their self-worth, strengths, and the range of life options possible for them.
