About Us
The Alliance is a private, not-for-profit agency part of a nationwide network of more than 650 Area Agencies on Aging. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the Alliance. Operating funds are received through federal, state and local grants, as well as private donations from individuals, corporations and special initiatives.
Evidence-based healthy aging programs offer workshops in both Spanish and English at community centers, senior living housing complexes, and faith-based organizations. The Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Prevention program delivers presentations to promote awareness and education regarding elder abuse and ways to prevent them.
