  • About Us

Neighborhood Justice Center launched as a non-profit organization in 1973 by a passionate group of community advocates, attorneys, judges, and neighbors. Our mission is simple, but not easy: ensure everyone in our community—regardless of race or class—receives due process within our criminal justice system and an opportunity to be heard.

Based on the spirited legacy of the Rondo community, Neighborhood Justice Center is rooted in the values of mutual support and respect. Our organization is one of the longest-standing public defense corporations in Minnesota and our team provides the highest quality legal support, at no or low cost to our clients.
