    The Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (JST) in Berkeley, CA, founded in 1934, prepares men and women to become leaders, both Jesuit and lay, in ministry and academia for the Roman Catholic Church. JST is an international center for the study of theology and ministry shaped by a keen sensitivity to the varied cultural factors affecting the Church's mission. Its unique programs offer professional graduate degrees in theology, ministry and ecclesiastical licentiates and doctorates in sacred theology. Degrees offered include: Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Arts, Master of Theology, Licentiate of Sacred Theology and Doctorate of Sacred Theology. We also offer the New Directions Sabbatical Program.
