    The Charlotte PAL was founded in 1968 by CPMD officers and a few volunteer coaches. Today the PAL provides athletic programs for over 1500 Charlotte elementary and middle school students through football, soccer, wrestling, cheerleading, golf, track and weightlifting teams. We offer tutoring for PAL members who would like it. Many students who come for tutoring are students who attend under performing schools in under served areas of our city. We are focused on providing each child with the support and encouragement they will need to excel in school and throughout life.
