About Us
The Mission of the Fred Schaufeld Scholarship Program is to increase the number of High School students who graduate from college on schedule, and achieve their educational goals and dreams with minimal to no student debt.
The Vision and Goals of the Program are to:
o Provide stability assistance by providing academic, social, emotional, and financial support to Schaufeld Scholars through college completion and beyond
o Ensure that Schaufeld Scholars persist in their collegiate academic studies and graduate with clear aspirational goals for their futures
o Help students continue the camaraderie that was shared with their fellow Westbury students in high school, while simultaneously encouraging them to aspire to branch out of Westbury/Long Island in order to develop as students and people
