About Us
Aidan Montessori School, one of the nation’s oldest Montessori schools, serves children aged 18 months through grade 6 and their families. Aidan is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Maryland and DC (AIMS). Located in the Woodley Park neighborhood of Washington, DC, Aidan is a dynamic and exciting environment in a highly diverse community of staff and parents.
Aidan's mission is to create and sustain an optimum Montessori educational environment to enable each child to realize his or her richest potential for learning and to become an independent, self-motiviated and contributing member of the world community.
