The Climate Solutions Foundation is a bipartisan organization. Foundation Co-Chairs Senator Mary Landrieu and Congressman Carlos Curbelo launched the Foundation in 2019 with a series of bipartisan, bicameral gatherings of Members of Congress, executives, and scientists at Senator Landrieu’s dining room table with one purpose: to build trust within the climate change community that inspires collaborative efforts to advance the agenda on climate.
The Foundation was inspired by the creation of the House Climate Solutions Caucus which, under the leadership of then Caucus Co-Chairman Curbelo, grew to include almost 100 bipartisan Members of Congress. The Caucus exists to educate members on economically viable options to reduce climate risk and to explore bipartisan policy options that address the impacts, causes, and challenges of our changing climate.
The Foundation supports the continued work of the House Climate Solutions Caucus and the creation of the Senate Climate Solutions Caucus.
