    The Family First Center of Lake County is a not for profit, 501c3, faith-based organization. Over 18,000 families in Lake County suffer from extreme poverty. Extreme poverty often forces families to live in unsafe living conditions, putting them at risk of illiteracy, gang involvement and potential incarceration. The Family First Center was established in 2002, in response to repeated acts of community violence and unrest, to provide intervention and prevention services in Lake County.
