    The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is an international organization that is committed to (1) the prevention of reading failure, (2)research-supported models of reading intervention for off-track readers; and, (3) research-based principles and practices of remediation for students with language-based learning disabilities, including dyslexia.

    The IDA (1) actively promotes effective teaching approaches and related clinical educational intervention strategies for off-track readers and individuals with dyslexia, (2) supports and encourages interdisciplinary research; and, (3) provides a wide range of information and outreach support to individuals, families, and organizations.
