  • About Us

Tara Mandala is a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center founded by Tsultrim Allione located in southwestern Colorado. We offer short and long-term meditation retreat programs in Tibetan Buddhism. We are also a center devoted to the reemergence of the divine feminine in the world.

The ruggedly beautiful landscapes here inspire the opportunity for deep retreat and renewal. We offer group meditation retreats during the summer retreat season. Private retreat cabins are available for rental year-round.

We need seasonal volunteers to help operate our busy retreat season during the spring and summer. We need help in gardening, kitchen help, housekeeping, landscaping and more. All volunteers receive 3 vegetarian meals a day, Buddhist meditation instruction and study, participation in daily group meditation practice and more. Volunteers can come and stay for a minimum of one month and up to the entire retreat season(May through September).

We are seeking volunteers who want to help serve others, who want to discover a way to explore the depths of their being, and who wish to help alleviate suffering in the world. Please consider joining us this summer. For more information please see the link below or email livingdharma@taramandala.org
