    The Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance is led by a growing alliance of Amazonian indigenous nations of Ecuador and Peru working to protect 86 million acres of rainforests in one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems on Earth. Fundación Pachamama and The Pachamama Alliance serve as the Initiative Secretariat facilitating the work of this alliance in Ecuador and Peru.
