About Us
Teach Chicago Turnarounds is an initiative of the Chicago Public Schools, in partnership with the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL), to recruit high-quality teachers for the Turnaround Schools in Chicago. Schools selected for the "turnaround" model will be reopened for the 2009-2010 academic year with a new administration, faculty, staff and curriculum.
We are seeking experienced teachers and administrators who know that a history of failure does not preclude the possibility of success; that the difference between a dropout and a graduate can be one great teacher.
