The Poetry Foundation is a non-profit, Chicago-based, literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. It exists to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience. The Foundation publishes Poetry magazine (currently in its 99th year) and runs an award-winning website. Additionally, the Foundation sponsors a variety of public programs and educational activities committed to increasing public understanding and enjoyment of the literary arts.
