DIAL/SELF AmeriCorps Program (DSAP)

DIAL/SELF AmeriCorps supports youth through activities such as arts, restorative circles, alternative learning, and collaborative coaching. DSAP partners with schools and youth-serving agencies to create unique full-time service opportunities throughout the river valley of Western Massachusetts.

DSAP Members build relationships with young people and support them in developing skills, connection, and confidence in their learning. They create opportunities for young people to set goals, drive their own solutions, make decisions, fail, learn and grow. They meet young people where they're at and support them to get where they want to go.

DIAL/SELF Youth & Community Services hosts the DIAL/SELF AmeriCorps Program, alongside a continuum of housing supports for young people who are houseless or at-risk of houselessness. DIAL/SELF's mission is to help young people increase their personal and community strengths and develop autonomy by connecting them with housing, income, education and civic opportunities. The AmeriCorps program is one component of this mission that mainly focuses on education and civic opportunities.
