    The Institute for Palestine Studies in Washington, D.C. (IPS USA) is a 501(c)3, private, nonprofit academic institution unaffiliated with any political organization or government, exclusively dedicated to documentation, research, analysis, and publication on Palestinian affairs and the Arab-Israeli conflict. IPS USA is devoted to a better understanding of the question of Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict. IPS publishes the quarterly Journal of Palestine Studies among other online and print publications. 

    IPS is looked upon as the major source of accurate information and analysis and as a model of institutional organization and independence. In the English and French speaking worlds, its publications are widely respected and extensively used in academic work on Palestinian affairs. IPS’s library in Beirut is the largest in the Arab world specializing in Palestinian affairs, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and Judaica.
