  • About Us

Nusach Hari B'nai Zion, an Orthodox congregation, welcomes Jewish families, singles and seniors of all backgrounds and levels of Jewish knowledge and religious observance.

Under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Ze'ev Smason, Nusach Hari-B'nai Zion is quickly becoming recognized as a major infuence in the St. Louis Jewish community.

NHBZ is the largest Orthodox Shul in St. Louis. We’ve been around for 100 plus years. We enjoy a lively atmosphere and our members come from all backgrounds of Jewish observance. We make everyone feel at home.

We hold all regular services, have a very active social club, women’s organization, and youth group. We provide programs for all ages -- from the young to the not-so-young. We are open almost ‘round the clock and have outreach programs for the unaffiliated.
