About Us
The Rural Coalition/Coalición Rural- Where diversity unites farmers, farmworkers, indigenous, migrant, immigrant and working people from the U.S., Mexico, Canada and beyond to work together toward a new society which values unity, hope, the land and the people.
Our aim is a just and sustainable food system that brings fair returns to minority and other small farmers, fair working conditions for farmworkers, protects the environment, and delivers safe and healthy food for all.
Together, we advocate national and international policies which support these goals, and through our SuperMarket project develop new and innovative cooperative markets for the diverse products of our small farm members.
