    The Battered Women's Shelter and Rape Crisis Center of Medina and Summit Counties are sister non-profit organizations located in Akron and Medina, Ohio. Both are committed to ending domestic violence and sexual assault through education, advocacy, and empowerment in the community. We provide a variety of services, such as emergency and transitional shelters, 24-hr crisis hotline, hospital and court system advocacy, community outreach and education, and more.
