Volunteers of America Western Washington is a non-profit human service agency serving the needs of families, seniors and the disabled in Western Washington since 1898.

Volunteers are instrumental in every aspect of our organization's ministry of service and help us reach far more people than we could with staff time alone.

We have several areas of focus:

Assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with residential care and to lead dynamic and engaging lives

Ensure children, seniors and vulnerable individuals have enough nutritious food to eat and be healthy

Provide mediation and training on conflict resolution for families and individuals

Answer the calls of anyone in the community experiencing mental and behavioral health issues

Prepare children in preschool for success in school

Create secure and encouraging places where seniors, youth, and family find social, emotional, and physical wellbeing and a sense of community
