About Us
Freedom Project works alongside the community to dismantle mass incarceration and heal from its traumatic effects. We are FROM and directed BY the community we seek to serve, centering those most marginalized and Black, Indigenous, and Communities of Color. Freedom Project strives to create a progressive, non-hierarchical, collaborative work environment. We seek to promote racial equity and oppose the systemic distribution of resources, power, services and opportunities that benefit people who are white at the expense of Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
