  • About Us

Camp Common Ground's mission is to foster cross-cultural relationships and inclusive social norms in Bay Area schools, so that students of all identities feel that they belong.

We do this by teaching middle and high schoolers: (a) social-emotional skills to build relationships across race and class lines, and (b) leadership skills to lead efforts in diverse groups to address student marginalization in schools and larger, social inequities.

    We offer 3 programs:

    • Camp Common Ground Summer Camp
    • Common Ground Leadership Club (school-based work)
    • Big Commoners/Little Commoners (alternative program to Summer Camp due to COVID-19)
