  • About Us

The Coalition for Debtor Education (CDE) is a non-profit organization dedicating to assisting consumers, with a particular emphasis on vulnerable populations, in understanding and improving their ability to manage their financial affairs.

Partnering with community outreach programs, the Coalition sends trained and enthusiastic volunteers to teach classes centered on financial literacy. Our classes cover a variety of themes, including credit repair, budgeting and saving, creating financial plans and managing debt.

Contact the Carol O'Rourke, Executive Director of the Coalition for Debtor Education, if you would like to sponsor a financial education class at your community center, school, or place of worship. For those who are interested in joing the Coalition, volunteering and Internship positions are also available year round.
