  • About Us

Since 1870, the Cambridge Center for Adult Education has been dedicated to providing the widest range of high-quality, low-cost learning opportunities for the diverse adults of greater Boston. At a time when digital and virtual experiences have become omnipresent, the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) remains deeply committed to place-based, person-to-person, experiential learning. CCAE is a nonprofit organization with an annual operating budget of $2 million and a staff of 16 FTEs. We run nearly 2,000 classes over 4 terms, taught by 350 professionals who are experts in their chosen fields. CCAE owns and operates two historically preserved properties in vibrant Harvard Square. (More information about CCAE can be found at www.ccae.org/about us)
