  • About Us

The Ohio Association of Foodbanks works closely with the State Administration, the Ohio General Assembly and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to secure funding for food and grocery items to feed hungry Ohioans. The association recognizes that hunger is merely a symptom of poverty and as such is engaged in a variety of anti-poverty initiatives including The Ohio Benefit Bank, a web-based, counselor-assisted benefits application completion and tax e-filing program. The association is also engaged in Home Energy Assistance Program outreach and has worked with the Access to Benefits Coalition.
