    LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota was chartered in 1968 by the Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA) and currently represents over 13,000 skilled construction and general laborers. It consists of five Laborers Local Unions - 363, 405, 563, 1091, and 1097. As part of our work, we negotiate collective bargaining agreements with employers and encourage unity of action among Locals; coordinate and consolidate Local Union activities; promote harmony and unity among Local Unions; organize the unorganized; promote and foster respect for and compliance with the International Union Constitution, other related Constitutions, as well as all of the rules, regulations, policies, practices, and lawful orders and decisions adopted and promulgated to further and administer these Constitutions.
