    Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Allegheny County advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children by training community volunteers who provide information and work with the child welfare system to ensure that the children's needs are being met and that timely placement in a loving, safe and permanent home. CASA's vision is to expand community activism and awareness regarding dependent children and to promote a child welfare system that is child-focused in its policies and decision making.
