    Friends of the Montclair Township Animal (FOMTAS) strives to: raise awareness of adoptable animals at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter; educate the community on responsible and humane companion animal care; and assist in connecting the shelter’s animals with families who can give them safe and loving homes.

    FOMTAS is the firscal sponsor of Partners in Animal Welfare, an organization formed in 2022 to expand the reach of FOMTAS by raising critically needed funds for animal rescues, shelters, sanctuaries and other animal welfare organizations; create programming in areas of identified need; and provide humane education.
