  • About Us

Parents of Asthmatics Quit Smoking (PAQS) is a longitudinal, randomized, controlled study that aims to help parents of children with asthma to quit smoking. Asthma is the most common pediatric chronic illness in the United States, affecting an estimated 4.8 million children. More than half of American children under the age of 5 live in homes with at least one adult smoker, which places them at greater risk for asthma and other conditions. PAQS is seeking several part-time volunteer interns to help in recruitment, data collection, and data management efforts to support this important project
