Tanzania Peace and Youth Development Centre (TPYDC)

Mwanza, Tanzania

  • About Us

Tanzanian women, children and girls remain among the most marginalized and underutilized citizens in Sub-Saharan Africa. Tanzania Peace and Youth Development Centre (TPYDC) believes that women, children, girls and the whole youth community have the energy, creativity and will to do things differently in their lifetime only if there’s peace. This is why TPYDC established by 10 young women and women and 5 Young men in 2015 and Registered in 2018 to promote and empower youth and other marginalized groups in spheres of Human rights, health, Education, Gender, Governance, livelihoods and peace to ensure their effective inclusion in all levels of the decision-making process, leadership and engaging process thereby contributing to the attainment of the sustainable development. Women, children and the youth lack of control over their lives is a root cause of poverty – so we help them empower themselves to overcome poverty.
