    t is a residential home for teen mothers who are currently in the custody of the Department of Social Services, together with their child. The mission of New Horizons is to help teen mothers become self-confident and effective mothers through hands-on educational experiences in a positive home environment. New Horizons is provided through a partnership between Clemson University's Youth Learning Institute and the South Carolina Department of Social Services.
