Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter

  • About Us

The mission of Heart of the Valley is to compassionately shelter the lost and surrendered pets of Gallatin and Madison Valleys in southwestern Montana, and to enhance the lives of people and companion animals through pet adoption and education.

In addition to caring for thousands of lost and homeless dogs and cats, we also conduct community outreach events, offer education and pet training, and run a summer camp for children and pets. We offer volunteer opportunities for everyone, from youth through seniors.
