  • About Us

Community Memorial Foundation is a private, independent foundation established in 1995 as a result of the sale of the non-profit La Grange Memorial Hospital. We maintain a local focus, serving 27 communities throughout the western suburbs of Chicago.

The Foundation subscribes to the strength of collaborative partnership. In addition to our grantmaking, we regularly convene grantee organizations and other community stakeholders to utilize and build on existing assets. We also conduct community needs assessments and demographic research to be responsive to the changing needs of our region.

To date, Community Memorial Foundation has awarded more than $70 million dollars to non-profit organizations serving western Cook and southeastern DuPage counties.
