Project on Predatory Student Lending, Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School

  • About Us

The Project on Predatory Student Lending fights for low-income borrowers who have debt from attending for-profit colleges. We litigate against for-profit school companies, enforce borrowers’ statutory and contractual right to debt cancellation after being defrauded, and hold the government accountable for failing to regulate schools and protect students. In an ever-changing political and regulatory landscape, the Project frequently engages in novel and agile litigation strategies to ensure its clients’ rights are enforced. As a component of the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School, the Project is committed to serving low-income and at-risk communities, while also fostering an environment for legal education.
