    The Friends of the Straub Environmental Learning Center was established in 2002 as a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization in Salem, Oregon. Our mission is to partner with the community to create an awareness and understanding of our relationship to the environment, by offering free or low cost environmental education for all ages in the mid-Willamette Valley. For the past six years, FSELC has sponsored the highly successful Straub Environmental Lecture Series, Climate Masters Training, Youth Naturalist Series, Nature Kids, Amateur Naturalist workshops, Family Science Night, and Environmental Issues Forum.
