  • About Us

The Thirty Million Words Project is an innovative parent-directed education initiative that aims to empower parents with the knowledge and skills needed to lay a strong cognitive and developmental foundation for their young children through language. A staggering disparity in parental language input of 30 million words places the vocabulary and cognitive development of already disadvanted children behind their more affluent peers before they even begin kindergarten. Through positive, nonjudgmental skill building, we are working to narrow this early childhood language gap and effect positive change in these children's lives.
