    NOFAS is a non-profit public health advocacy organization founded in 1990 and dedicated to preventing prenatal exposure to alcohol, drugs, and other substances known to harm fetal development. Based in Washington, D.C., NOFAS raises awareness and supports women before and during their pregnancy, and supports individuals, families, and communities living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and other preventable intellectual/developmental disabilities.
