    The Allied Health Sciences Department at the University of Connecticut is a longtime leader in allied health education. AHS continues to grow and diversify with a student-focused faculty and professional staff and a wide range of research interests. The Department offers undergraduate programs in Allied Health Sciences, Diagnostic Genetic Sciences, Dietetics, and Medical Laboratory Sciences as well as Masters and PhD programs in Health Promotion Sciences and a Professional Science Masters program in Healthcare Genetics. In addition, AHS offers post-baccalaureate and certificate programs in Dietetics, Diagnostic Genetic Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Health Promotion & Health Education, and Occupational Safety & Health.
