    Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium, a 501(c)(3) environmental education facility located in Lee County, Florida. From its inception in 1970, the Center has been a community organization and asset, both sustained and supported by community efforts. Our mission is to develop a greater public awareness of and appreciation for the unique natural systems of Southwest Florida and to foster an understanding of earth and space sciences.
