  • About Us

New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger is a 501(c)3 program within the New Jersey Agricultural Society. Our mission is to collect surplus fruits and vegetables from farms and deliver to community organizations serving those in need. Annually, we recover 1.3 million pounds of fresh produce and breads, and deliver to over over 70 organizations including churches with food pantries, soup kitchens, and state food banks. We also utilize over 1200 community volunteers to join us at local farms and help harvest the excess produce from the fields. Since 1996, over 50 local farms have partnered to help us reach our goals.
