KIPP Austin Public Schools

KIPP Austin Public Schools is a network of free, public, open enrollment schools for low‐income and historically educationally underserved students in East Austin, Texas. We believe that demographics do not define destiny and that every child, regardless of economic background has the right to an exemplary education.

We empower our students to thrive "To and Through" college and positively impact their communities. KIPP Austin currently serves 5,000 enrolled students, at 10 schools, on 3 campuses (north, east, and south Austin). Over the past 14 years we have grown tremendously and as one "Team & Family," we can and will fulfill our promise.

KIPP Austin Public Schools is part of KIPP, the Knowledge is Power Program (www.kipp.org). KIPP is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. There are currently 200 KIPP schools in 20 states and the District of Columbia serving nearly 80,000 students.
