    Founded in 1910 and staffed since 1970, Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS) is an independent, nonprofit public education, research and policy development organization that works to end poverty and engage, equip, and empower all families in Connecticut to build a secure future. CAHS has been a consistent leader in efforts to reduce poverty in Connecticut through FES policy and practice, as well as efforts to create an environment that supports poverty reduction.
