    The Volunteer Center of Los Angeles brings people together to solve community problems by recruiting volunteers for community-based organizations. Its programs include: Retired & Senior Volunteer, Foster Grandparent, Senior Companion, First and Second Careers, Youth Service Learning, and the Community Service-Alternative Sentencing Programs, Teen Outreach Program, Parenting Classes/Teen Counseling, English as a Second Language, Citizen Training Program, youth mentoring, and connects people to all types of volunteer involvement throughout the community.
