    Monk Botanical Gardens operates a public botanical garden and provides associated educational, recreational, and social activities for the Wausau, Wisconsin region. Our mission is to cultivate well-being in people, communities, and the environment through experiences that engage, educate, and inspire.

    Today, the Monk Botanical Gardens occupies a 30-acre property with a mile of trails on the west side of Wausau, Wisconsin - at 1800 North First Ave. We host over 60,000 visitors a year and serve 11,000 community members through programming, events and Sprouts Garden Preschool.
